After working I decided to do some last minute shopping for my flight on Monday, I needed some beauty essentials so I was really hoping to hot the big superdrug on Oxford Street and go crazy...,
I regret to inform you that did not happen. As it is Easter Sunday the majority of shops seem to have decides to remain closed, but the ones that did remain open we're fast food restaurants ,boots and the odd independent store such as a beauty salon on the kings road
When I arrived on Oxford Street and saw that the superdrug was closed I prayed with all my nonexistent magical powers that the boots would be open..And it was!
However, even though it was open and there did seem to be a lot of staff, the store was in absolute chaos! This really disappointed me as it was just minor things like having extra people on hand at the tills or the staff that were wondering between the aisles doing nothing but smiling could have been stocking up the shelves, this all could have helped the shop run smoother and more efficiently.i was stood in the queue for 20 minutes because only two tills were serving when there should have been more opened.
I know I'm moaning and complaining about the staff but Easter Sunday or not customer service should always 100% and if the main bosses know that it's going to be busy busy busy open more stores don't just have one open on the busiest street in London!
Regardless I would still like to thank you for being open so that I could get my shopping done :)

Beauty - Korres Lip Butter Plum
This purchase was one of those impulse buys that once I tried it on my lips I had to have it! I purchased the lip butter in an Oliver Bonas store in London, and instantly fell in love it!
What I was most surprised about is that is that it made a very smooth layer on my lips so you could not see any of the chapped lips outline, if that makes any sense. I do have to reapply after 2 hours just for the extra hydration but otherwise the colour remains all day. When my pot is finished I will definitely be purchasing another one!
And don't worry guys! They're cruelty free!

Experience, Cucina Aselina - Aldwych,
I must say
that the first time I saw this restaurant I was extremely impressed with the
interior (looking in: white leather, dimmed lights, tea lights etc.) and the
Italian menu so I made a little vow to myself to make sure that I visit this
place...
The day
finally came the next following Sunday.
After a
couple of hours of shopping through the beautiful Covent Garden and making some
impressive purchases we decided to visit the Cucina Aselina. We were greeted by
smiley,at first, blonde who when we told that we only wanted the desert and
coffee menu gave us the briefest look that showed us she wasn't impressed.
She then
took us into the dim lit room waited till we were seated and then gave us the
menus.
After she
left, literally 2 secs after, our waitress came and greeted us, asked for our
order and the waltzed away. When our orders came I was thoroughly surprised
with mine.
First of
all, I ordered a warm chocolate cake.. what I received was a sort of melt in
the middle type pudding except without the melted chocolate in the middle. It
also had a ball of plain flavored vanilla ice cream which actually really
complimented the 'cake'. I wasn't overly impressed with this desert but it would
have been a decent sized desert if we had a meal beforehand. The cake was 6
pounds, which is an reasonable price to pay as you are also paying for the
service and the overall presentation. The staff were also very attentive but
not over-bearing which can sometimes be hard to be, so the service was very
impressive. The waitress that we had was also very friendly and it was apparent
the she wanted to make us as comfortable as possible.
I am
looking forward to coming to this restaurant again, but I will not be ordering
the chocolate cake instead I want to try the tiramisu with the ameretto ice
cream.
Can boys just be just friends with girls?
This is a little debate that I have been having for quite a while now. First of all this is just my opinion/thoughts so please do not start caplocking me :)
Basically, this has been bugging me for quite some time. I don't know why, but it always seems to happen to me. What seems to always happen to me you ask?
Well, I find it easier to make friends with guys way more than when I have to make friends with girls. With guys its easier to click and joke, whereas, with girls there always seems to be that 'omg look what she's wearing' and/or 'she likes my crush.. make her life hell'. But don't get me wrong this is not always the case.
A little story, I made friends with this guy that was in my drama club, we didn't really talk so I was genuinely surprised when he started talking to me on facebook. We agreed to meet up for coffee and exchanged numbers. The first coffee meet up we had was very jokey, very funny and very relaxing. The second time we met up for coffee it was the same. But the third time he suggested something else such as going to his house to watch a movie. That was fine as well, but what really bugs me is that I thought that we were doing all of this just as friends but oooh nooo boy was I wrong about that!
I find out that he fancies me so what do I do now?
When you want to keep a guy as a friend but then the (sometimes) stupid feelings start getting in the way which can be from both sides, not just his, you are left with no option but to start hinting that you're not interested. I hate doing this, as I don't have the biggest experience when it comes to 'rejecting' someone regardless of how nice they are. I just wish that the 'feelings' never would've started happening and we would've been able to just hang out as friends, but what can you do?
So my question is can boys just be friends with girls? because this hasn't happened to me just once but it seems to have happened a lot of times, and you may say 'STOP FLIRTING YOU DESPERATE HOE' but honestly if I was flirting I would've admitted that I 'led' him on, and I would've admitted that it was my fault but when this is not the case my question is still pending for an answer.
Any volunteers?
